Twenty-two Hispanic students have been selected to participate in the inaugural session of The Hispanic National Bar Association Legal Education Fund's Legal Education Action Program ("LEAP"). The program, designed to introduce high school students to the U.S. legal system and increase diversity in the profession, will take place June 23-30, 2013 in Los Angeles, California.
"LEAP was developed to ensure Hispanic youth of diverse backgrounds obtain the skills and tools necessary to achieve academic success, realize their potential, and become tomorrow's legal and business leaders," said Omar Vargas, president of the The Hispanic National Bar Association Legal Education Fund.
